The Contagion Cabaret: The Film (and Post Show Decontamination!)
Killer germs, superbugs and pestilential plagues have long fascinated writers and musicians--but now, during the COVID-19 lockdown, they may be more relevant than ever! We are pleased to bring you Contagion Cabaret: the film. Eight locked down performers and 6 socially-distanced researchers have created a unique performance ready to watch online. After the film's release, we hosted the post show decontamination in collaboration with TORCH where we had a live discussion with Professor Sally Shuttleworth (Diseases of Modern Life, Oxford University), Anna Tolputt (Performer), Professor Sunetra Gupta (Department of Zoology) and Professor Kirsten Shepherd-Barr (Faculty of English).
